The first day of camp went good for me. I meet some new friends. I also saw some old friends. We went to the swiming pool for a little bit but we had to go back to the cabin. It was going to lighteing. Some people like storms but I don't. Kate Jamie added... Maybe the folks raising their hands LIKE storms like she does!
This is a BLOG (an online journal) from the Literacy Session at Camp Courage for teens ages 12-19, who are struggling readers. Our campers have a wide range of abilities and disabilites including developmental cognitive delay, autism, and learning disabilities. With the BLOG, we are practicing "writing without standards". i think raising your hand is when the coounelor wants the campers to be quiet...... my favortie part of camp is just to have fn and meet other people.
